6. Fragrance Decants and Product Variations
Some products sold by Scent Droplet are fragrance decants. Decants are hand-filled from authentic retail bottles into smaller atomisers or sample containers.
Authenticity
We only decant from original branded fragrance bottles sourced through trusted channels. Unless clearly noted otherwise, products are supplied in smaller atomisers or sample containers rather than the manufacturer’s original packaging. We do not sell replicas, fakes, diluted fragrances, or knock-off products.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, fragrance decants are not supplied in the original manufacturer packaging.
Because fragrance is subjective and may vary from person to person, we do not guarantee that a scent will perform, smell, or wear the same on every individual. Variations in skin chemistry, expectations, or scent preference do not make a product faulty.
We also sell hair, beauty, body, and lifestyle accessories. Product appearance, colour tone, finish, packaging, and minor design details may vary slightly from images depending on supplier batches, lighting, and screen display.
7. Availability
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we may cancel the affected item or order and offer a refund or another suitable solution where appropriate.
8. Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed under the same customer account, payment method, billing address, or shipping address.
If we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address, or phone number provided at the time the order was made.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and shipping details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
9. Shipping, Delivery, and Incorrect Address Information
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Some items may have a dispatch timeframe of up to three business days. Where this applies, the dispatch timeframe refers to the time we need to prepare, process, decant, pack, or arrange the item before it is handed to the courier. This dispatch timeframe does not include courier delivery time. Any estimated delivery timeframe begins after the order has been dispatched.
If an order contains both standard-dispatch items and items with a dispatch timeframe of up to three business days, the order may be dispatched together once all items are ready, unless we choose to send items separately.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping and delivery information entered at checkout is accurate and complete. Customers are also responsible for selecting the correct shipping option for their order, including the correct courier service for urban or rural delivery addresses.
If an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address is provided, or if the wrong shipping option is selected at checkout, we are not responsible for delays, returns, failed deliveries, or additional courier charges that result.
If an order is returned to us, delayed, redirected, or requires additional payment because of incorrect address details or an incorrectly selected shipping option, we may request payment of the additional courier cost before dispatch or re-shipping. If a refund is approved in these circumstances, it may be reduced by shipping fees, rural surcharges, return-to-sender charges, payment processing fees, or other non-recoverable costs already incurred, to the extent permitted by law.
We will work with customers to resolve orders that are lost or damaged in transit in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law and our store policies. Some fragrance products are stocked in limited quantities and may be decanted from one retail bottle at a time. This helps us maintain freshness, hygiene, safe handling, and quality control.
Because replacement stock may be sourced at different times, prices may vary between batches, restocks, or releases. Pricing may increase or decrease based on supplier pricing, availability, shipping costs, and any discounts or promotions available to us at the time of sourcing.
From time to time, products may also be offered at promotional, discounted, or sale prices. These pricing changes may occur due to supplier discounts, restock pricing, limited-time offers, or other commercial reasons.
Once an order has been accepted and paid for, the price paid at checkout is final for that order. We do not offer refunds, credits, partial refunds, or price adjustments if the same item is later discounted, promoted, or offered at a lower price after the purchase date.
While we make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, pricing, typographical, or system errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any such errors at any time, including after an order has been placed. If a pricing error affects your order, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund, or contact you with the option to proceed at the corrected price where appropriate.
Payment must be received in full before an order is processed and dispatched, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and related remedies are governed by our Refund Policy.
