What is a fragrance decant?

A decant is a smaller amount of perfume transferred from an original full-size bottle into a compact spray atomiser, so you can enjoy luxury fragrance without committing to a full bottle.

Why choose a decant instead of a full bottle?

Decants let you explore premium scents in a more affordable way. They’re ideal for testing a fragrance properly before investing in a full-size bottle.

Are your fragrances authentic?

Yes. We only decant from genuine branded fragrance bottles sourced through trusted channels.

Is hygiene maintained during the decanting process?

Yes - care, cleanliness, and consistency are a big part of what we do. We use gloves during handling, maintain correct labelling, and use dedicated transfer equipment for decanting rather than using the original bottle for personal spraying.

We also regularly check product condition and expiry where applicable, so every decant is prepared with attention to hygiene, freshness, and quality.

Are your fragrances safe for my skin?

We handle our fragrances with care, cleanliness, and attention to quality, but every person’s skin is different. Because fragrance sensitivity can vary, we cannot guarantee that every scent will suit every skin type.

If you have sensitive skin, known allergies, or a history of reactions to fragranced products, we strongly recommend patch testing before full use. If any irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice where appropriate.

Do decants come in original packaging?

No. Our decants are supplied in smaller atomisers and do not include the original retail packaging unless stated otherwise.

Do you label every decant?

Yes. Every decant is labelled carefully so you can easily identify the fragrance you have ordered.

Are your decants hand-filled?

Yes. Each decant is carefully hand-filled once your order is placed, rather than pre-filled in bulk. This helps us maintain freshness, consistency, and attention to detail with every order.

Why doesn’t my bottle look completely full?

Our decants are measured by volume, not by how full the bottle looks. A small air gap is intentionally left to help reduce the risk of leakage or pressure-related spillage during shipping.

What sizes do you offer?

We currently offer:

  • 2.5ml
  • 4.5ml
  • 9.5ml
How many sprays will I get?

Spray counts can vary depending on the atomiser and how heavily you spray, but roughly:

  • 2.5ml → around 25–35 sprays
  • 4.5ml → around 45–65 sprays
  • 9.5ml → around 95–135 sprays
How long will a decant last?

That depends on the fragrance, how often you wear it, and how many sprays you use. Even smaller sizes can still give you multiple full wears.

Will the fragrance smell the same as the original bottle?

Yes. The scent is the same fragrance taken from the original bottle. Only the presentation and size are different.

Do all fragrances last the same amount of time?

No. Longevity can vary depending on the fragrance itself, your skin chemistry, the weather, and how heavily you apply it.

Why is trying a fragrance on skin important?

A fragrance can smell quite different once it settles on your skin. Trying a decant first gives you the chance to experience how it wears throughout the day before deciding if it is worth buying in a full bottle.

Can I layer your fragrances?

Yes. Many people enjoy layering scents to create something more personal. We recommend starting light and experimenting gradually.

Are your decants good for travel?

Yes. Our smaller sizes are convenient for handbags, travel, work, or everyday carry.

Are your decants good for gifting?

Yes. Decants make a thoughtful option for someone who enjoys trying different fragrances without committing to a full bottle.

Why don’t you stock more expensive fragrances?

Some premium fragrances can cost $300–$400 or more for a single bottle. While we may expand in the future, our current focus is on carefully choosing lower to mid-priced fragrances that deliver excellent value, great performance, and a luxurious experience without the high price tag.

Why are some items low in stock?

Many of our fragrances are stocked in small batches, often one bottle at a time. This helps us avoid overstocking, maintain freshness, and prepare each decant with greater care. It also means some scents may sell out quickly before the next restock.

Why do prices change from time to time?

Because we buy in small batches, our pricing can change more often than larger retailers. Some restocks may be sourced at a better price, while others may cost more depending on supplier pricing, availability, shipping costs, and whether the fragrance was purchased on special.

Keeping stock small helps us avoid overstocking, reduce upfront investment, and maintain a fresher, more thoughtful range.

Do you offer price matching or price beats?

We believe our pricing offers strong value for authentic fragrance decants, so we do not currently provide formal price matching or price beat guarantees. However, if you have a genuine pricing enquiry, you’re welcome to contact us and we may review it at our discretion, with no obligation to match or beat another price.

I didn’t like the smell - can I return the decant?

Fragrance is deeply personal, and what works beautifully for one person may not suit another. For that reason, we do not accept returns based on scent preference alone. The purpose of a decant is to let you experience a fragrance before committing to the cost of a full bottle.

How should I store my fragrance?

Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to help preserve the scent.

Do you ship within New Zealand?

Yes, we currently ship within New Zealand.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days. After dispatch, delivery is generally:

  • North Island: 1–3 business days
  • South Island: 2–4 business days

Rural deliveries may take a little longer.

What if my order arrives damaged or leaking?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging, and we’ll do our best to resolve it promptly.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because of the nature of fragrance decants, we do not accept change-of-mind returns unless required by law. If there is an issue with your order, please get in touch.

Do you restock fragrances?

Some fragrances do return, depending on availability. If there’s something you love, it’s best not to wait too long.

What if the fragrance I want is sold out?

If a fragrance you’re after is currently unavailable, feel free to reach out. Some scents may return depending on supplier access and demand.

Can I request a fragrance?

Yes. If there’s a fragrance you’d like us to source, feel free to contact us and we’ll see what may be possible.

Do you stock fragrances for men or women?

We believe fragrance is personal. Rather than focusing too heavily on labels, we encourage you to explore scents based on what you enjoy and what suits your style best.
