Pre-Sale Terms & Dispatch Promise
At Scent Droplet, we occasionally offer selected fragrances through a Pre-Sale Stunner Discount. This allows our customers to access new or upcoming fragrances at a razor-sharp introductory price before we officially add them to our regular stock range.
Because these prices are extremely sharp, some pre-sale products are offered before we physically hold the stock.
What Does Pre-Sale Mean?
A pre-sale product means the item is available to purchase before it is ready for immediate dispatch.
For selected pre-sale products, we do not currently hold the product in stock. We will order the product from our supplier as soon as the first customer order is received.
Once the product arrives to us, it will be carefully handled, decanted, labelled, packed, and dispatched from New Zealand.
Dispatch Timeframe
All pre-sale products will be dispatched within 8 business days from payment confirmation.
Business days exclude weekends and New Zealand public holidays.
Please note that the 8 business day timeframe refers to dispatch from Scent Droplet, not courier delivery time. Delivery after dispatch depends on NZ Post/Courier timelines and may vary depending on your location, courier delays, rural delivery, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Our Pre-Sale Promise
We want our customers to feel safe and confident when ordering from us.
If we are unable to dispatch the affected pre-sale product within 8 business days from payment confirmation, you will be eligible for:
- A full refund of the affected pre-sale item/s
- plus
- A $10 Scent Droplet store credit as our apology.
Refunds for affected pre-sale item/s will be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
The $10 Scent Droplet store credit will be issued as a Scent Droplet voucher or discount code, cannot be exchanged for cash, and will be valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
The $10 Scent Droplet store credit is issued once per affected order, not per individual item, unless we choose otherwise.
Mixed Orders: Pre-Sale and Non Pre-Sale Products
If your order includes both pre-sale and non pre-sale products, your full order will be dispatched together once the pre-sale product is ready.
This helps us avoid excessive freight costs and allows us to keep our pre-sale prices as low as possible for our customers.
If we are unable to dispatch the pre-sale product within the promised timeframe, we will still dispatch your non pre-sale products at no additional shipping cost. You will also receive a refund for the affected pre-sale item/s, plus the $10 Scent Droplet store credit if applicable.
Supplier Availability
Pre-sale products are subject to supplier availability.
We only list pre-sale products where we reasonably believe the product can be sourced from our supplier within the stated timeframe. However, supplier availability can change without notice.
If no customer order has been placed and our supplier runs out of stock, we may remove the product from the pre-sale, mark it as unavailable, or update the product page.
If a customer has already placed an order and the product becomes unavailable from our supplier, we will contact the customer as soon as possible and arrange a refund for the affected pre-sale item/s.
Price Changes After Pre-Sale
The pre-sale price is a special introductory price and may increase once the pre-sale period ends, once supplier pricing changes, or once the product is added to our regular range.
No refund or price adjustment will be provided if the price changes after your order has been placed.
